The gym was already popular, and recently moved to a new location when we were approached to provide digital guidance. The primary concern for the muay thai team was growth. How to max out their new space and once completed, how to grow to a potential second location that allowed for enough attendee occupancy across both locations.
They also wanted a more streamlined booking system that combined attendees texting/smsing, calling, ClassPass and also booking through website into a single approach.

The Approach
As the gym was already well populated it was more about sitting with the team and seeing the direction they wanted to take. This collaborative approach is part of the Titan DNA, where we work with our clients to ensure their needs and direction align with the approach which we propose.
With an established, but limited digital presence, consisting of strong daily social media coverage and a basic website with packages, classes and gallery Inspire Fitness sought our help to elevate to new heights. Our first step in the consultancy process was to ensure alignment across these existing digital elements (branding and narrative) – all offline posters, packages, colouring and branding would replicate what existed on the website/social for a unified approach.
Secondly, we improved the booking process – encouraging the creation of an app, which has heavy adoption from class attendees, followed by improving the website by bringing in an automated plugin for bookings – tying these two together with analytics allows for strong tracking and understanding of the audience and their motivations/behaviours. This involved also creating packages that targeted specific new segments for personal training like buddy’s, family and kids.
Finally, everyone raved about the classes, but not online – so we wanted a more vocal digital word-of-mouth for the gym. We provided a comprehensive bespoke review strategy that allowed them to engage their customers at multiple touchpoints to request a review. The biggest priority here is ensuring authenticity. Reviews must be real and not solicited with free classes or discounts – with that covered off, we created a slow but stready trajectory of real reviews from customers.

The Result
Maximising class sizes and occupancy has allowed the gym to grow, and for brand recognition and also for the trainers to become well known, to a point of culminating in a visit from Muay Thai legend Saenchai into Singapore – Where Inspire Fitness was one of only two gyms that he visited, despite there being a multitude of muay thai gyms throughout the country.
With such an amazing pre- to post- user experience created for all fitness attendees it made sense to invite Saenchai to provide a Muay Thai Masterclass for the trainees at Inspire Fitness. With everything finely-tuned and optimised this event became a standout on the gym’s calendar for the year.
